Edge Span S60 LSP-3 solar battery enclosure is a solar power based outdoor maintenance-free all-in-one enclosure that integrates communications, solar power, lightning protection, and POE switch. The product is specially optimized according to the pain points of CCTV Camera and IoT devices outdoor deployment to achieve the following main functions:

When the solar battery enclosure is deployed outdoors, controlling the operating status of the solar controller is very helpful for the operation and maintenance of the entire network. Problems can be diagnosed remotely so that on-site repair and maintenance can be completed faster and better when needed. Edge Span’s built-in solar controller can be remotely monitored and managed by Edgeware’s Convergence software platform, allowing users to easily implement remote operation and maintenance.

5.2 Solar Battery Management System(BMS)

Edge Span S60 solar battery enclosure is usually deployed in remote outdoor areas, and the maintenance cost is relatively high. The battery status and service life will largely cause on-site maintenance and repair. Therefore, the built-in battery of Edge Span is equipped with Battery Management System (BMS). BMS collects key parameters such as battery voltage, current, capacity, number of cycles, etc. and synchronizes them to the software platform for remote management and maintenance by operation and maintenance engineers.
