Edge Span S60-5GP is an outdoor maintenance-free all-in-one outdoor IoT enclosure that integrates communications, solar, lightning protection,POE and IoT edge control gateway. The product is specially optimized according to the pain points of outdoor edge IoT deployment to achieve the following main functions:

(1) POE can be configured as 3*Ports 802.3at, or 2*Ports 802.3at and 1 Port 802.3bt

(2) IoT sensor integration provides different options based on customer request, and up to 4*Ports external sensor integration can be configured. It can adapt to common protocols such as PLC, Modbus, BACNet, etc. Customized development and docking can be carried out according to the customer’s sensor protocol.

(3) It can output DC48V, DC12V, DC24V voltage according to customer needs.

Problems can be diagnosed remotely so that on-site repair and maintenance can be completed faster and better when needed. Edge Span’s built-in solar controller can be remotely monitored and managed by Edgeware’s Convergence software platform, allowing users to easily implement remote operation and maintenance.

Edge Span S60 solar outdoor IoT enclosure is usually deployed in remote outdoor areas, and the maintenance cost is relatively high. The battery status and service life will largely cause on-site maintenance and repair. Therefore, the built-in battery of Edge Span is equipped with Battery Management System (BMS). BMS collects key parameters such as battery voltage, current, capacity, number of cycles, etc. and synchronizes them to the software platform for remote management and maintenance by operation and maintenance engineers.
