Edge Span U60-LSP-7 is an All in One Smart Node specially designed for high density POE edge access in outdoor applications. Edge Span U60-LSP-7 has the following main features:
- POE/POE+ Capabilities
Edge Span U60-LSP-7 can access devices such as cameras, WIFI APs, microwaves and other downstream devices through POE/POE+. Up to 2 pcs 110W POE++ module can also be configured according to customer needs. And all POE interfaces take into account the design requirements for outdoor lightning protection. The POE capability of the whole system can reach more than 240W.
All the PoE ports can perform PoE network management, realize PoE port power allocation, priority setting, port power status viewing, time scheduling, etc.
- Powerful IoT Access Capabilities
Edge Span U60-LSP-7 also has the ability to connect to various IoT Sensors and various controllers. For this scenario, we have designed various access and control capabilities such as Modbus, CAN Bus, 485, DI, DO, 20ma, etc. According to the needs of customers, we will assemble different modules to meet the needs of customer scenarios. Edge Span U60-LSP-7 can also provide DC12V/DC24V/DC48V power supply according to the power supply requirements of external equipment. And all interfaces consider outdoor lightning protection requirements. This capability only configured based on customer request, default configuration will not include this function.
- Rich Communication Protocols
Support ERPS ring network and STP/RSTP/MSTP to eliminate layer 2 loops and realize link backup.
Support IEEE802.1Q VLAN, Users can flexibly divide VLAN, Voice VLAN, and QinQ configuration according to their needs.
Support static and dynamic aggregation to effectively increase link bandwidth, realize load balancing, link backup, and improve link reliability.
Support QoS, port-based, 802.1P-based and DSCP-based three priority modes and four queue scheduling algorithms: SP, WRR, and SP+WRR.
Support ACL to filter data packets by configuring matching rule processing operations and time permissions, and provide flexible security access control policies.
Support IGMP Snooping V1/V2/V3 multicast protocol IGMP Snooping to meet the high-definition video surveillance and video conference access requirements.
- IP65 Fully Natural Cooling and Maintenance-free
Edge Span U60-LSP-7 is often deployed in the wild or on Pole. When visiting the site for maintenance, it is often not easy to access the equipment. Therefore, we have configured maintenance WIFI in the equipment so that customers can access the equipment for configuration and maintenance without climbing up the Pole or site installation location during operation and maintenance. The device’s SSID can be hidden. Of course, WIFI can also be configured as a public application to achieve WIFI network coverage in remote areas.
- Plug and Play
Edge Span’s system will be configured according to the customer’s scenario requirements to achieve deployment, plug and play when customers arrive at the site.

1.Maintance Free
The entire Edge Span U60 All in One Outdoor UPS system is constructed with an IP65/NEMA4 grade aluminum housing with strong outdoor corrosion resistance. And the system is fully sealed and can be deployed in any area without fear of environmental challenges.
Good heat dissipation design and all industrial-grade devices make the system no longer rely on fans, but rely on natural heat dissipation. Therefore, the system no longer needs to be maintained and replaced due to the fan.
2.Highly Reliable and Versatile UPS System
Industrial Outdoor UPS system is used in various and complex environments. The UPS systems we developed for the system are all based on outdoor harsh environment design and have industrial-grade stability and reliability, and can adapt to an ambient temperature of 60°C.
Based on the diversity of usage scenarios, we provide both DC48V and DC12V voltages. We can also add various voltage systems according to customer requirements.
3.Comprehensive Lightning and Surge Protection
The Edge Span U60 is used in an outdoor environment and is inevitably threatened by lightning and surge. Based on Edgeware’s rich experience in outdoor lightning protection, we have designed perfect lightning protection for both signal and power systems.
At the same time, based on Edgeware’s smart breaker, it realizes the protection of over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and short-circuit.
