Edge Span S60-LTE-B is a solar power 4G CPE designed by Edgeware. The difference is that it integrates LTE, battery and solar system inside. It fully reflects the design philosophy of Edgeware All in One. Edge Span S60 is a off-grid system, so people also called Outdoor Off-grid Remote Solar Power System.
Edge Span S60 LTEP-B Solar Power 4G Outdoor CPE is an All in One Power Solution specially designed for outdoor access edges. In many edge access scenarios, it is very difficult to obtain wired networks such as GPON and optical fiber Ethernet. Where there is no optical fiber, there is probably no electricity. It is very difficult to realize service access and backhaul at the edge networks. The design background of Edge Span S60 LTEP-B Solar Power 4G Outdoor CPE is to make the deployment of these scenarios no longer difficult. The product integrates a solar controller, an industrial-grade LTE module with POE function, and a complete machine monitoring module.
Edge Span S60 LTEP Solar Power 4G Outdoor CPE system Ingress protection reaches IP65 level, which is enough to adapt to the complex environment of outdoor deployment.
The Edge Span has complete interfaces, with downlink 3*10/100/1000M Base-T interface (if the monitoring module is not configured, it can reach 4*10/100/1000M Base-T). All downlink ports have POE/POE+ functions. If customers need POE++, we can also add corresponding modules. At the same time, for industrial control, power control and SCADA system control scenarios, 2*DI, 2*DO, 1*RS232 and 1*RS485 are added. The uplink interface can be configured as 1 10/100/1000M Base-T and 1*10/100/1000M Base-X according to requirements.
In terms of LTE wireless, it has high scalability to adapt to a variety of different scenarios. Customers can choose CAT1 CAT4 CAT6 CAT12 wireless modules of different standards according to their own scenarios. We can also customize antennas with different gains according to your requirements, such as 3dBi, 6dBi, 10dBi and so on.
Edge Span S60 LTEP-B Solar Power 4G Outdoor CPE integrates a 48V20AH lithium battery, and the battery has a powerful BMS management, which is enough to allow you to remotely understand the monitoring status of the battery.

Edge Span S60-LTEP-B Solar Power 4G Outdoor CPE is designed for edge access scenarios. In scenarios with no utility power, rapid deployment can be achieved through Edge Span S60-LTEP-B. It is no longer restricted by the mains electricity. At the same time, this product can customize different uplink interfaces according to customer requirements, such as GPON, 10/100/1000M Base-X SFP optical port, or 10/100/1000M Base-T electrical port. As well as LTE uplink with Cat1 Cat4 Cat6 Cat12 these kind of modules.The downstream port can be customized according to the requirements of the GE port, the downstream port supports 802.3 af/at by default. For scenarios that require 802.3 at, we can also add customized modules according to customer needs.

All Edge Span products can be equipped with a monitoring unit. When you configured this component, the core functional units in Edge Span can be under the management of Edgeware Convergence Software Platform. This function is especially important when deploying in large-scale outdoor sites. It will greatly simplify your daily maintenance and trouble shooting, thereby saving OPEX.
In some scenarios, customers will have some equipment such as sensors or control systems that need to be integrated into our software platform. We can do this by configuring a monitoring unit on Edge Span.
When Edge Span is equipped with a monitoring unit, customers can easily implement remote site maintenance. Different sites can be set to different maintenance groups and assigned to different team to perform specific tasks in real time. Our Convergence Software Platform also has a northbound API interface, which can be opened to the customer’s superior OSS system to facilitate customer integration of the entire network management.
