When WIFI hotspot is used to cover remote areas, it often faces two problems:

(1) How to obtain electricity?

(2) How to build the backhaul network?

At this time, the answer is often solar powered hotspot plus satellite to solve this problem. This case is a typical case of Edgeware in Latin America. We used Edge Span S60 to build an off grid solar batteries system for our customers, and we built the satellite router into the Edge Span S60 to become an all in one solution. Through the Edge Span S60 off grid solar batteries system to supply power to the customer’s WIFI ap, we simply built a solar powered hotspot solution for remote area coverage.
